Nohypemovement

The acronym “No Hype”, means ‘Never Oppose Holy Yielded Praise Experiences’. The vision and mission of the “No Hype Movement”, is to help change our approach to God in worship, specifically in His House. The Lord, our God, awaits the praise of His people, seeking our most intimate worship. He yearns to inhabit our hearts, including our houses of worship. God deserves total and complete surrender each time we enter His house, without “Hype”. Hype occurs when the focus is no longer vertical (towards God). When this occurs, an environment of confusion, mechanical praise, and manufactured worship are the results.

Knowing God intimately; changes the way we worship Him understanding His Deity. Knowing God intimately; changes the way we sing through experiences with Him. Knowing God intimately; changes our attitude in worship because we see things from His perspective. Knowing God intimately; changes the way we present ourselves on the platform since we know we’re in the King’s presence. Knowing God intimately; ultimately changes the way we live, as we understand the sacrifice His Son made for us.
